Martock’s Safety Policy Martock is proud to be a family friendly resort. We specialize in kids! Weekdays we have school groups visiting during the day and different competitive youth teams training at night. Weekends mean all of our adult and children’s ski and snowboard programs are running. Weekends are also when most family’s come to enjoy time together on the trails and on the slopes. Please respect the Alpine and Cross-Country Codes at all times, especially while in the Slow Zones on the Rope Tow and Buttermilk. These are trails dedicated specifically to beginner, novice and slower skiers and snowboarders. All of Martock’s paid patrollers (Rangers) and volunteers are trained and certified by The Canadian Ski Patrol System (CSPS). The CSPS is a volunteer organization responsible for providing safety and first aid services at Martock and ski resorts across the country. Our Ski Patrol will be diligent in ensuring our clients are skiing and snowboarding safely. Warning tickets and "time outs" will be given to anyone not adhering to the Responsibility Codes.
*If a skier or snowboarder’s actions are deemed serious enough, Martock reserves the right to skip any of the preceding steps.
