Martock Arrival Procedures

• Upon parking your vehicle head to one of the WELCOME TO MARTOCK signs. It may be easier to drop off kids and gear at one of the signs prior to parking. From there go around the outside of the lodge on either the right or left hand side. Use one of the entrances under the TICKETS/ RENTALS/ LESSONS signs.
• If you are planning to drop off kids 18 or younger please accompany them through the ticket/rental/lesson process. Because they are under the age of majority they must be accompanied by an adult through the ticket and rental process.
• Once inside, The Main Counter is directly in front of you. All prices and products are located on signs directly above the Main Counter.  Not sure what you need? Just ask one of customer service reps. They’ll steer you in the right direction.
• From the main counter you’ll head to the Rental Shop or, if you have equipment out to the hill to the hill you go. Have fun!

Rental Procedures

If you need rental equipment a rental form must be completed at the Main Counter. Please make sure the information you provide is complete and accurate. This information will be used to ensure your equipment is suitable and the settings are correct.

• After the form is competed the customer service rep will send you over to the Rental Shop. First step once in the Rental Shop is the helmet counter. We recommend all skiers wear a helmet. Helmets are light, warm and comfortable.

• Next stop is the boot counter. Let the rental tech know your shoe size and whether you’re skiing, snowboarding or cross-country skiing. Once you have you boots find a spot on the bench, take off your street shoes and try on your boots. Proper fit is very important. Only one pair of socks is needed! Close all the buckles / tie the laces. The boots should fit snug but not hurt your feet. Our rental staff are available to assist you if you have questions or concerns about the boots. If the boots fit put them both on and store you street shoes in on of the cubby holes. Put on your helmet and take your gloves and all the things you plan to wear on the slopes and head to either the ski or snowboard counter.

• The rental technician will issue you the proper equipment based on the information you provided on the rental form. The rental technician will be able to answer any question you may have regarding the safe operation of the equipment. A copy of the rental form will be given to you listing the equipment provided to you. You will need to return this copy at the end of your day. If you’re skiing or cross-country skiing stop at the pole Counter for a pair of poles.

• Exit the Rental Shop and enjoy your day on the slopes or trails!
